Madeleine Piat-Landolt is a movement artist/dancer, educator, and healer who
has shared the wisdom nature of complementary movement forms, sound, and meditation
internationally for over 30 years, engaging body, mind, and spirit with all ages. Her teachings
reflect the integration of ancient traditions with contemporary views, which cultivate the
medicine of awakened life force dedicated to building skillful action, right relationship, and
planetary peace. She draws from a lifetime practice of diverse movement disciplines, meditation,
and healing practices from European, Native American, Tibetan Buddhist, and Taoist traditions
with over 25 years as a certified educator based in the Montessori method.
In 1983 she created “Integral Movement Arts Education”, a developmental curriculum for children (Infant-Toddler, Early Childhood, & Elementary levels), which has been shared as training for educators in both private and public school sectors as well as childcare centers. The Arts in Nature educational
programs, offered since 1996, have grown to include experiential teachings for our youth and
extended family in an effort to build, strengthen, and integrate the fullest sense of community.
Since 1995 Madeleine has served with honor as Ceremonial Dance Mistress, caretaking the
annual cycle of sacred dances of the Ywahoo lineage (Cherokee/Tsalagi). Her Living Arts Yoga
& Meditation Retreats have been offered for over ten years, drawn from classical hatha yoga as
well as Tibetan Buddhist yogic disciplines and meditation practices. As a practitioner/teacher
of authentic yang style T’ai Chi Ch’uan (Taijiquan), she has been studying with 3rd generation
Master Tung Kai-Ying and his son, Chen-Wei since 2003.
The Quantum Field Dance Project, initiated in 2005, has explored the spiritual physics of harmonization through light, sound, and dance at environmental sites both in Europe & North America. Wheel of Life teachings arose in 2006 to bring forth the sacred medicine of indigenous wisdom traditions, reawakening the
original instructions in our human family. Most currently, White Cloud Dance, a movement art
form originally conceived in 1981, has evolved through the years to resurface in 2010 as part of
the Heaven on Earth events & teachings. In 2007, Madeleine founded White Cloud Living Arts
Foundation (www.whitecloudarts.org), based in Lincoln, VT, offering wholistic healing arts
educational programs, consultations, residential retreats, and events for the benefit of all beings.
